This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register the FIR based on the order passed by learned District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate at Needamangalam in Crl.M.P.No.627 of 2023 dated 28.07.2023.

2.The petitioner filed petition under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C. before the learned District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate at Needamangalam and the learned learned District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate at Needamangalam vide order dated 28.07.2023, directed the second respondent to register an FIR and to investigate and file final report within a period of one month and since the same was not complied with, the petitioner has filed this petition. 3.Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side).

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that during the pendancy of this petition, the second respondent registered an FIR in Crime No.105 of 2024 on 2/4

31.03.2024 for the offence under Sections 294(b), 289, 506(i) of IPC and Sections 3(1), 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s), 3(2)(va) of the SC and ST Act. 5.In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition and this criminal original petition is closed. 01.04.2024 pri Index: Yes/ No Speaking Order: Yes/ No NCC: Yes/ No To 1.The Superintendent of Police, Office of the Superintendent of Police, Tiruvarur District.
