ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner herein, who was arrested on 22.03.2022 for the alleged offence under Sections 392 and 506(ii) of IPC in Crime No.76 of 2022, seeks bail.

2. The petitioner herein was arrested on a complaint given by the defacto complainant alleging that the petitioner and two others came to his shop and threatened him that they will complain before the authorities for selling banned plastic products and thereafter demanded Rs.1 lakh for not giving complaint to the authorities. When the defacto complainant refused to give the money, they robbed Rs.35,000/- from him and left the shop.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent police states that the other two accused persons are yet to be secured and so far as this petitioner is concerned, he is a notorious criminal element against whom 22 criminal cases are pending and he is a history sheeter.

4. Considering the said fact and abscondence of the other two accused persons involved in this crime, this Criminal Original Petition for bail is dismissed.
