C O M M O N O R D E R When the matter is called today, it is represented that the the Writ Petition Nos.1525, 1526 and 2280 to 2288 of 2018, which are pending before the other Court, viz., before Justice S.Vaidyanathan have been withdrawn. Mr.S.Saravanan, learned counsel appearing for the 1st respondent, handed over the certificates of Alex Nelson, who wanted to get Transfer Certificate and other certificates and leave the college. The same has been handed over to the father of the said Alex Nelson, Mr.Ravi Edison Raj, who is present before this Court. 2.The relief sought for by the petitioners have been complied with and the Transfer Certificates sought by the students from the College have been handed over either to the parents or the students along with required certificates. 3.

When this Court is about to close the Writ Petitions, the learned counsels would submit that if Government is made as a party, they would request the Government to consider to accommodate the students in Government Colleges. Therefore, on request, the Director of Legal Studies, Government of Tamil Nadu, Chennai, and Dr.Ambedkar Law University are made as parties.

4.Mr.Munusamy, learned Special Government Pleader (Education) and Mr.Nallathambi, learned counsel representing Dr.Ambedkar Law University would submit that there is no vacant seat available either in the School of Excellence or in any of

the Government affiliated Law Colleges and therefore, it is impossible to accommodate the students. However, the learned counsel for the students requested to give liberty to them to approach the Government and the Government is at liberty to take a decision. Therefore, it is always open to the petitioners to approach the Government with a request and the Government may consider the request of the petitioners, as per law and merits, within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above directions, these Writ Petitions are closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs.
