This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.02.2025 within a reasonable time as may be fixed by this Court.

2. Though notice was served on the second respondent and the name is also printed in the cause list, no one appeared on behalf of the second respondent.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the first respondent and perused the materials available on record.

4. The petitioner maintained Account No. 1153135000017550 2/5

with the first respondent. While that being so, on the request made by the second respondent dated 09.06.2023, the first respondent has frozen the account of the petitioner and did not permit the petitioner to operate his account.

5. On a perusal of the communication dated 09.06.2023, it is revealed that the petitioner's account has been used as a second-layer account by the accused and credited a sum of Rs.75,353/-. Therefore, the first respondent requested to hold a sum of Rs.75,353/- in the petitioner's account. However, now the first respondent has frozen the account of the petitioner and did not permit the petitioner to operate the account.

6. In view of the above, the first respondent is directed to hold a sum of Rs.75,353/-, and permit the petitioner's Account No.1153135000017550 to operate in respect of the remaining amount.

7. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No 3/5
