ORDER

This writ petition is filed with a prayer to grant a status of Legitimate Female Child to their 12 years old daughter, Afsana, born to the second 1/3

petitioner at the age of 17 years on 10.04.2012 as mentioned in Birth certificate dated 18.04.2012 with registration No.05 of 2012.

2. The grievance of the petitioners is that they have a legitimate female child named Afsana, born to the second petitioner at the age of 17 years on 10.04.2012 and the same is also mentioned in the birth certificate dated 18.04.2012. Therefore, the present writ petition is filed in view of the doubts that have arisen for the declaration of status.

3. This Court, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, cannot grant such a declaration of status. The parties have to approach the competent civil forum in the manner known by law. The respondents cannot declare such a status either.

4. With this liberty reserved for the petitioner, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
