The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to pass orders on the representation made by the petitioner dated 10.02.2015 to grant housing patta for an extent of 3 cents in T.S.No.2727/2 of Kancheepuram Town.
2.Mr.R.Abdur Rahman, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has given her representation as early as on 10.02.2015 for grant of housing patta, the 3rd respondent has not passed any order so far. 3.Mrs.K.Bhuvaneswari, learned Additional Government Pleader https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
appearing for the respondents submitted that the 3rd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders, after conducting enquiry within a period of twelve weeks.
4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.02.2015 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after conducting enquiry, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
