Prayer: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the concerned records relating to the order passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal, dated 31.01.2025 in O.A.No.80/2025 to quash the same in so far as it failed to grant the interim relief prayed for the petitioner consequently direct the respondent to accept the manual representation submitted by the petitioner on 24.01.2025 for the post of Assistant pursuant to the Notification No.A-34012/7/E1/2024/DP&AR (EXAM) dated 22.08.2025 and permit the petitioner to participate in the selection process.

This Writ Petition is filed for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records concerned relating to the order dated 31.01.2025 in O.A.No.80 of 2025 passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal, Chennai Bench and quash the same in so far as

it failed to grant the interim relief prayed for the petitioner and consequently, direct the respondent to accept the manual representation submitted by the petitioner on 24.01.2025 for the post of Assistant pursuant to the Notification No.A-34012/7/E1/2024/DP&AR (EXAM) dated 22.08.2025 and permit the petitioner to participate in the selection process.

2. Though the petitioner herein has raised several grounds in the above Writ Petition, challenging the order of the Tribunal in rejecting his request for participating in the recruitment process, Mr.J.Muthukumaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that he is not pressing any of the grounds raised in the Writ Petition, and that it would be suffice if his representation, which was made on 24.01.2025 is considered by the respondents. The submissions of the learned counsel is hereby recorded.

3. In consideration of the submissions made, the respondents herein are directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.01.2025, on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of one (1) week from today.
