..Respondents PRAYER:- Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Constitution of India praying to punish the respondents herein for their willful and wanton disobedience of order made in writ petition No.29999 of 2017 dated 22.11.2017. ORDER

This contempt petition is filed complaining that the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.29999 of 2017 dated 22.11.2017 has not been complied with.

2. This Court, while disposing the above writ petition, directed the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.10.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law. The petitioner sought for grant of house site patta.

3. The contempt petition is taken up today after notice to the respondents. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the

order passed by this Court has been complied with by granting patta to the petitioner. To that effect, the Tahsidar, Omalur, has sent a letter to the Government Advocate dated 16.08.2018. A copy of the said letter is also placed before this Court. It is stated therein that the compliance of the order was made on 01.06.2018.

4. The above said statement made by the learned Additional Government Pleader is recorded and the Contempt Petition is thus, closed. If the petitioner is still aggrieved against the said order, it is open to the petitioner to challenge the same in the manner known to law in a separate proceedings. No costs.
