Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation dated 27.04.2018, made by the petitioner for transfer to the vacant place of the Noon Meals Centre at Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Siggarapattai, Krishnagiri District within a time to be stipulated by this Court.

Heard Mr.P.Ganesan, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.R.Janaki, the learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. On consent of the learned counsel for the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for disposal.

The grievance of the petitioner, in this Writ Petition is for non-consideration of his representation for transfer to a nearby place, though he has been working as Noon Meal Organiser for the last 12 years in his present place of positing. Such representation has been made on 27.04.2018 to the respondent, but the same evoked no response, which necessitated the petitioner to file this Writ Petition seeking for its disposal. 3.
The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that since the respondent is guilty of inaction in consideration of the petitioner's representation, a direction be issued to him to consider the same within a stipulated period. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submits that the respondent shall have no objection to consider the representation of the petitioner, but in accordance with law, within the time to be stipulated by this Court.

In such premises, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merit of the representation of the petitioner, disposes of this Writ Petition at the stage of admission with a direction to the respondent to consider and pass orders on such representation of the petitioner dated 27.04.2018 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law and intimate the decision taken thereon to the petitioner. However, it is made clear that this order should not be treated as mandate of this Court to consider the representation in any particular manner. No costs.
