Today the matter has been listed under the caption 'For Being Mentioned' at the instance of the learned counsel for the petitioners. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that this Court, by order dated 27.04.2021 in Crl.O.P.No.7870 of 2021 in second paragraph, it is has been stated as follows:- "2. ............Therefore, the petitioners are directed to surrender before the trial Court within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on such surrender, the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Special Judge for Prevention of SC/ST Atrocities Act, shall deal with the matter on the same day on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the victims under Section 15-A(3) of the SC/ST/Act."

3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the Court below have been closed due to COVID-19 pandemic situation and hence, Page No.1/4

the petitioners are unable to surrender before the trial Court and the order of this Court could not be complied with.

4.Further, the name of the 1st petitioner in the cause title has been wrongly typed as Arunkumar instead of Arunkumar @ Arun. Hence, he prayed for necessary corrections.

5.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent agrees for the correction sought by the learned counsel for the petitioners.

6.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Court directs the Registry to correct the second paragraph of the order dated 27.04.2021 in Crl.O.P.No.7870 of 2021 as follows:- "2....................Therefore, the petitioners are directed to surrender before the trial Court within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order or after commencement of normal functioning of the Court, which ever is later and on such surrender, the learned Principal Page No.2/4

District and Sessions Judge, Special Judge for Prevention of SC/ST Atrocities Act, Tiruvallur District shall deal with the matter on the same day on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the victims under Section 15-A (3) of the SC/ST Act."

7.Registry is also directed to correct the name of the 1st petitioner Arunkumar @ Arun instead of Arunkumar and issue order copy a fresh. 29.06.2021 vv2 Page No.3/4
