Common Prayer:
These Writ petitions are filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the request of the petitioner for transfer/ deployment to the existing vacancies in Panchayat Union Middle School/ Primary School under Elementary Education Department in Kancheepuram District based on the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 6.6.2015 within a time frame to be fixed by this Honourable Court.

2.The petitioners are all employees in the Valluvar Aided Middle School, Thirunageswaram, Kundrathur, Chennai 69. Since, they became surplus, they are sought to be redeployed to different Schools. The grievance of the petitioners is that they are redeployed to schools at far off places. Hence, they made a common representation dated 06.06.2015, to post them at nearby places. According to the learned counsel for the petitioners, there are so many vacancies in the nearby Panchayat Union Elementary/Middle Schools and the petitioners are not permitted to join in the deployed Schools. Hence, the petitioners sought for a direction to dispose of their representation dated 06.06.2015.
3.In view of the narrow prayer made, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioners dated 06.06.2015, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
