Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to conduct an enquiry and pass necessary orders in the petitioner's application dated 22.09.2017 for issue of patta for the properties in S.No.162/2 and 163/1 of Erandangankattalai Village measuring Acre 0.17 Cents, morefully described in the schedule hereunder, if necessary by conducting survey with the assistance of the second respondent and complete the process within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court. ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to conduct an enquiry and pass necessary orders in the petitioner's application dated 22.09.2017 for issue of patta for the properties in S.No.162/2 and 163/1 of Erandangankattalai Village measuring Acre 0.17 Cents, morefully described in the schedule hereunder, if necessary by conducting survey with the assistance of the second respondent and complete the process within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
2. Mr.M.Manigopi, learned Government Advocate entered appearance for the Respondents 1 & 2 and submitted that an enquiry is scheduled to take place on 28.05.2021 at 11.00 a.m at the office of the first respondent.
3.The said statement of the learned Government Advocate is recorded.
4. In view of the above, no further direction is required to be given except that the first respondent is directed to issue notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, provide them a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the matter through a speaking order within a period of twelve (12) weeks (after the conclusion of the General Elections to the Legislative Assembly - 2021) from 28.05.2021. 5.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
