ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed for a direction to first respondent to consider representation of petitioner dated 27.07.2024 and consequently direct third respondent to pay rent arrears.

Petitioner is resident of property situated at Door No.10, Dam Road, Vadakkanandhal, Kallakurichi District, in which one TASMAC shop was let out for rent to third respondent, based on executive order passed by Villupuram District Collector in Mu.Mu.(L1) 18906/2012 dated 31.12.2012. It is submitted that guidelines for running TASMAC shop was duly complied with. Corporation was regularly paying rent until 2002. However, since 26.01.2002, Corporation has been in default. In such circumstances, petitioner submitted a representation dated 27.07.2024 to second and third respondents. The said representation was not acted upon. Hence, the present writ petition.
3. It was submitted by learned Standing Counsel for respondents that representation dated 27.07.2024, made by petitioner would be considered and
appropriate orders would be passed, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by learned counsel for petitioner.
4. In view of the same, taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of case and limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to first respondent, to consider representation dated 27.07.2024, on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to petitioner, within a period of eight (8) weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any view with regard to merits of representation.
5. Accordingly, writ petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
