This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for non compliance of the order dated 22.09.2022 passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.22968 of 2022, thereby directing the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.6 of 2021 and file final report within a period of twelve weeks.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that as directed by this Court, the respondent completed the investigation in Crime No.6 of 2021 and filed final report before the Additional Mahila Court, Egmore, Chennai and the same has been taken cognizance in C.C.No.7 of 2023.
