PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus, to call for the records of the 4th and 5th respondents in Na.Ka.No.04/I.O.P/C.C.I.W/Salem dt.nil and quash the same and further direct the 2nd and 4th respondents to permit the petitioners to join duty and allocate the work assignments to the petitioner in the Co-operative Societies Department where the petitioner was earlier functioning as Sub Registrar, Co-operative Societies (Public Distribution System) Salem / Namakkal Region. For Petitioner : Ms.M.P.Bharathi, for Mr.R.Ezhilarasan.

ORDER
Ms.M.P.Bharathi, representing Mr.R.Ezhilarasan, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the relief sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructuous, in view of the fact that the petitioner has attained the age of superannuation.
2. In the light of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed, for
having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected W.M.P.Nos.22753 and 22754 of 2016 are closed. 11.08.2025 NCC :
