ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the impugned order of the 2nd respondent issued in NaKa No.18702/2014/K2 dated 27.02.2014 and quash the same and consequently direct the 1st respondent to consider the name of the petitioner for promotion as Revenue Assistant in Tiruverkadu Municipality.
2. Heard the leaned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3. It is seen that pending writ petition, this Court granted interim stay of the transfer by the second respondent, thereby the third respondent was transferred to Tiruverkadu Municipality as Revenue Assistant. Therefore, the third respondent could not join in the post of Revenue Assistant. Pending Writ Petition, he was transferred to some other place. 2/4
Therefore, the order of transfer dated 27.02.2015 became infructuous. The consequential prayer in the main writ petition is that seeking promotion to the post of Revenue Assistant. Subsequently, it was also rejected by the second respondent. It is stated that the same has been separately challenged by the petitioner in W.P.No.10688 of 2015. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructuous.
4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
