The prayer in the writ petition is for issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant 30 days ordinary leave by considering the representation dated 30.03.2022 to the petitioner's husband, by name, Kubendran, convict prisoner, now confined in Central Prison, Cuddalore.

2. When the matter was taken up, learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition, in view of the amendment to Suspension of Sentence Rules, 1982 vide G.O.(Ms) No. 205, Home (Prison -V) Department dated 25.04.2022, with liberty to file a fresh representation before the authorities concerned. She has also made an endorsement in the bundle.

3. In view of the permission sought and endorsement made, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the authorities concerned. No costs.
