ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent police to register FIR on the complaint made by the petitioner on 16.07.2015, he has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

3. On reading of the complaint, it is seen that the dispute is essentially civil in nature, inasmuch as it is the grievance of the petitioner that he invested money in a NBFC and when he wanted to foreclose the amount, the NBFC has charged huge amount, which is contrary to the circular issued by the Reserve Bank of India. In a case of this nature, the police cannot be allowed to interfere, as that would lead to abuse of process of law.

4. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedies in the manner known to law.
