ORDER

The petitioner/accused in Crime No.637 of 2009 registered for offence under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code read with Sections 4 and 5 of the Prize Chits and Money Circulation Schemes (Banning) Act, 1978, has filed this quash application stating that the First Information Report was registered on 14.09.2009 and so far, Final Report has not been filed.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the first respondent submits that this is a case of job rocketing. In this case, investigation has been completed and charge sheet is filed on 02.01.2026 in e-filing No.LTN20230001354C202600001 before the learned V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai well before the filing of this petition i.e., on 09.03.2026.

3. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
