ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader, who took notice for the respondents and with their consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal.

2.The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the first respondent to consider her representation dated 24.04.2017 and consequently direct the second respondent to appoint her for the post of Noon-Meal Organizer at Panchayat Union Elementary School, Anaiyampatti Pudur, Gengavalli Taluk, Salem District.

It is the case of the petitioner that she applied for the post of Noon Meal Organizer at Panchayat Union Elementary School, Anaiyampatti Pudur, Salem District, along with relevant certificates in the office of the second respondent on 04.08.2016. According to the petitioner, she is fully qualified for the said post. Further, according to her, since her marriage with her husband is an inter caste marriage, as per the Government Policy, she would be entitled to get priority in employment. Since, there was no communication from the respondents, she made a representation on 24.04.2017 to the first respondent to appoint her for the said post. Pursuant to the same, the second respondent, by a communication dated 04.05.2017, had called for an interview on 12.05.2017 and her certificates were also scrutinized on the said date. Thereafter, there was no response. Hence, the petitioner is constrained to come forward with this writ petition.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of matter, hereby directs the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 24.04.2017, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
