O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd Respondent to provide police protection to the property situated in S.F.No.2/11B to an extent of 04-32.0 (4800 sq.ft) situated in Block No. 7, Ward No C, Alagapuram Village, Salem Town, Salem District to Survey the land by the 1st respondent and to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.01.2024 within a time stipulated by this Court. 2.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that, based on the complaint given by the petitioner, petition enquiry is pending in CSR.No.116/2024 on the file of the respondent Police.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submitted that pursuant to the receipt of the complaint, a report has been sought from Revenue Divisional Officer, Soormangalam and on receipt of the same, a decision will be taken by the respondents. 3.The petitioner is directed to co-operate with the Police for enquiry and the 2nd respondent Police shall conduct the enquiry keeping in mind the judgment in Lalitha Kumari vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh reported in 2013 (6) CTC 353. On completion of the enquiry, the 2nd respondent Police shall take a decision regarding the further course of action.
