The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the first respondent to dispose of his representation dated 16.02.2015. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner joined the Revenue Department as Assistant on 21.07.1971 and retired as District Revenue Officer on 30.06.2007. He made representation dated 16.02.2015 to the first respondent seeking to implement the recommendation of the second respondent for inclusion of his name in the panel of Deputy Collector for the year 1996-97 and since there was no response, has come forward to file this writ petition.

3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents fairly submitted that the first respondent would consider 2/4

the representation of the petitioner dated 16.02.2015, if not already considered, on merits, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

4.In view of the above, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.02.2015, if not already considered, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
