Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to take appropriate action against the person who are erecting banner in front of the petitioner's commercial shop without any permission from the authority concerned on the basis of petitioner's representation dated 01.06.2015.

ORDER

The petitioner has come to this Court with this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India complaining that his small mobile accessories and sales shop situated at Fourth New Mosque Building near Ariyas Hotel, Gandhi Statue, Arni has been completely covered/obstructed from being seen by the customers and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

road users. As a result of the erection of the flex board in front of his shop, which is obstructing and disturbing the business, he has lost his livelihood.

2. This Court, on an earlier occasion, by order dated 17.6.2015, directed the respondents to remove forthwith the flex board put up in front of the petitioner's shop and report before the Court, as to the compliance of the order, on 22.6.2015. In deference to the said order, Mr.S.Lakshminarayanan, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents submitted that the direction given by this Court to remove the flex board put up in front of the petitioner's shop has been complied with. He has also placed a letter written by the Commissioner of Arni Municipality stating that as per the direction of this Court, they have removed the flex board erected in front of the petitioner's shop on 19.6.2015.
