O R D E R

The petitioner filed this petition to modify the condition directed the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.25,000/- to the Cancer Institute (WIA), East Canal Bank Road, Adyar, Chennai, passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.8176/2020 dated 05.06.2020, while enlarging the petitioner on bail in the event of his arrest.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a agriculture coolie and that the petitioner is unable to mobilize funds to arrange an amount of Rs.25,000/-. Hence, prayed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.9150 of 2020 dated 05.06.2020. 1/2 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl.Side) appearing for the State submitted that the petitioner is complying with the conditions regularly imposed by this Court.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the condition already imposed on the petitioner is modified as "the petitioner is directed to deposit a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) by way of demand draft, to the Adyar Cancer Institute (WIA), East Canal Bank Road, Adyar, Chennai, and on such deposit and production of proof, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance, within a period of fifteen days from the date, on which this order copy is made ready, before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Mannargudi, on further condition that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) with one surety for a like sum to the satisfaction of the respondent police or the police officer who intends to arrest or to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed". The other conditions imposed by this Court shall remain unaltered. This petition is ordered accordingly.
