O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the third respondent to issue patta in the name of the petitioner with respect to the subject property after considering the representation made by the petitioner on 18.10.2024.

2. Heard Mr.K.Nagarajan, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the online application was submitted by the petitioner on 05.01.2025. However, the same has not been pleaded and necessary document has not been filed. Therefore, if the petitioner has already submitted the online application seeking for patta, it is left open to the third respondent to act upon the online application and take a decision within a period of six (6) weeks. If no such online application has been submitted, the petitioner is directed 2/4

to submit a fresh online application to the third respondent along with all the necessary particulars and documents and on receipt of the same, a decision shall be taken within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of the fresh online application submitted by the petitioner. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
