Prayer:- Contempt petition has been filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, praying to punish the respondents for willfully disobeying the orders passed in WP.No.10072 of 2022 dated 02.01.2024. ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents for non compliance of the order dated 02.01.2024 passed by this Court in W.P.No.10072 of 2022, thereby directing the respondent to prepare year wise panel and accordingly promote the eligible persons to the post of Junior Drafting Officer.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that as directed by this Court, the respondent prepared panel and granted promotion by the proceeding dated 07.02.2024. However, the respondents

instead of preparing year wise panel from the year 2017 onward, proceeded to prepare panel for the year 2022-23 and granted promotion. 3.

Considering the above submissions, this Contempt Petition is closed. If any grievances, the petitioners are at liberty to challenge the proceeding dated 07.02.2024, in the manner known to law. 24.04.2024 Index : Yes/No Speaking/Non Speaking order rts
