Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to register the proceedings of the 2nd respondent in Mu.Mu.195/2020/A3, dated 13.05.2020 by considering my on-line application dated 26.05.2020 in application No.S01ANDVV202005261545217.

2. Heard Mr.Guruprasad, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.T.M.Pappiah, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2.

3. The petitioner seeks issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to register the proceedings of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruppur dated 13.05.2020, in and by which, he had cancelled the settlement deed said to have been executed by the petitioner in favour of the respondents 3 to 6.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that in view of the fact the said order has been passed under Section 23 (1) of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, the authorities do not have any objection for registering the said proceedings with a foot note.

5. Considering the statement made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to register the proceedings of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruppur made in Mu.Mu.195/2020/A3, dated 13.05.2020 with necessary foot notes. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
