ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 24.3.2014 filed by the petitioners on merits in accordance with law.
2.Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners have preferred an appeal dated 24.03.2014 against the order passed by the 2nd respondent, whereby the names of the respondents 3 to 8 are included in the revenue records of the petitioners' property without issuing any notice to the petitioners herein. Thereafter, the petitioners have also made a representation to the 1st respondent seeking to dispose of the aforesaid appeal. Till date, no action has been taken to dispose of the petitioners' appeal dated 24.03.2014. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.
3.Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that he has to get instruction as to whether the appeal has
been disposed or not.
4.Considering the submissions made by both parties and in view of the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court directs the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioners' appeal dated 24.03.2014, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the private respondents within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in case the appeal is still pending.
