2. Mr.S.Kanmani Annamalai, learned Additional
Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, in all these matters, filed a common counter affidavit, wherein the respondent had denied the averments stated in the affidavit, filed in support of the contempt petitions. Further, the respondent has stated that there is absolutely no negligence whatsoever in complying with the orders passed by this Court and that he never violated the directions of this Court. Further, the respondent has also stated that the petitioner had suppressed the material facts in the Contempt Petitions.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw the Contempt Petitions and also made an endorsement to that effect, however, in view of the averments stated in the common counter affidavit of the respondent, the Contempt Petitions are closed.
