ORDER
The petitioner was admitted as Nursing Student in the year 2008. It appears that during the end of third year, she has not attended the college due to her family circumstances. Thereafter, the petitioner made a request for continuation on 20.11.2013. On receipt of the same, the second respondent has passed appropriate orders as seen from the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.18234/Se.Pa.Pi-1/2014 dated 01.12.2014.
Even thereafter, the petitioner was not allowed to re-join the course. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed. 2.
When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instruction, submitted that the petitioner, after completion of 1st and 2nd years, absented herself from coming to the classes in the 3rd year. Therefore, in this regard, the third respondent has sought for a clarification from the Registrar of Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council, Mylapore, Chennai-600 004. Thus, appropriate action can only be taken after getting suitable reply.

In view of the stand taken, the Registrar of Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council, Mylapore, Chennai, is directed to send the clarification as sought for by the third respondent in reference No.2294/SON/2014 dated 14.12.2015 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Based upon the said clarification, the third respondent shall pass appropriate orders within a further period of two weeks. 4.The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
