This Civil Revision Petition is filed for a direction to the learned Principal District Munsif Judge at Alandur to expedite the disposal of O.S.No.599 of 2008.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the revision petitioner that in a suit filed by the respondents 1 & 2 seeking partition of the schedule mentioned property, he is one of the defendants. All the pleadings are completed, issues have also been settled and PW1 also came to the witness box and he has to be cross-examined. The petitioner/4th defendant is stated to be the age of 75 years, thereby sought for a direction to expedite the disposal.

3. Considering the submission of the learned counsel for the revision petitioner including the age of the petitioner, as the pleadings have already been completed, issues have been settled and PW-1 also examined in chief, an appropriate direction can be given to the trial Court to expedite the trial in OS.No.599 of 2008.

4. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with a direction to the Trial Court to dispose of O.S.No.599 of 2008 as expeditiously as possible, not later than six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. 18.04.2023 kmi To
