O R D E R
The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondents R1 and R2, to dispose of the complaint submitted by the petitioner dated 14.07.2016 about harassment.
2. In this regard, the District Superintendent of Police, Cuddalore District, filed a counter affidavit stating that the allegations of the petitioner about morphing her photographs in indecent manner and about threatening of fifth respondent of publishing them in the internet etc., are not brought to the notice of police even the same was admitted by the petitioner in her petition. The petitioner had not come forward with any specific complaint against the fifth respondent to the Police authorities, alleging that he was threatening the petitioner with indecent morphed photos, which could tarnish her image to the extent of losing her business. However on 27.07.
2016, the petitioner's daughter by name Keerthiga has given a complaint/ statement with the petitioner, while the petitioner was treated in Cuddalore Government Hospital for the injuries alleged to have been sustained by her during the assault made on her by two persons namely Selvam and Shanmugam and that she was in unconscious stage. Based upon a complaint / Statement made by her daughter Keerthiga, a Criminal Case was registered in Vadalore Police Station in Crime.No.30/2016 u/s 294[b], 506[i] IPC., r/w. 4 of TNPWH Act 2002 and the final report was filed and the case was taken cognizance by the Judicial Magistrate in C.C.No.50 of 2020.
3. The trial is in progress. This being the factum, the petitioner has to pursue the case before the Court concerned to establish the allegations. The Trial Court has also expected to proceed with the trial expeditiously.
4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
