Respondent in both CRPs PRAYER in both CRPs: These Civil Revision Petitions are filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, seeking to direct the Subordinate Judge, Thiruvannamalai to expeditiously dispose off the I.A. Nos.87 & 88 of 2017 in L.A.O.P No.17 of 2002 pending on its file, within the time frame fixed by this Court.

C O M M O N O R D E R These revision petitions are filed seeking to direct the Subordinate Judge, Thiruvannamalai to expeditiously dispose off the I.A. Nos.87 & 88 of 2017 in L.A.O.P No.17 of 2002 pending on its file, within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners have filed the petition in L.A.O.P. No.17 of 2002, against the meagre award of compensation and seeking to determine fair and just compensation. As per the directions of this Court, the award amount has been deposited before the Subordinate Court, Thiruvannamalai, towards payment of compensation. The petitioners have filed I.A. Nos. 87 and 88 of 2017, seeking to withdraw the compensation amount lying with the Subordinate court. According to the petitioners, the aforesaid applications are adjourned from time to time for filing counter and that there is no legal impediment for considering their applications. Hence, the present revision petitions are filed seeking the aforesaid prayer.

3. Considering the aforesaid facts and submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners, since there is no other impediment to dispose of the Applications by the trial court, without going into the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to direct the Subordinate Court, Thiruvannamalai, to dispose of the applications in I.A. Nos. 87 & 88 of 2017 in L.A.O.P No.17/2002, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Both the Civil Revision Petitions are disposed of, with the above direction. No costs.
