2 B.PRAKASH Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extent the time to deposit the cost amount in Crl.RC.1073/2020. Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.V.T.NARENDIRAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of K.MADHAN, Government Advocate (Criminal Side) on behalf of the Respondent R1, the court made the following order:- When the matter was taken up for hearing on 09.02.2021, this Court directed the petitioner to deposit 15% of cheque amount on or before 25.02.2021 as per the guidelines laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Damodar S.Prabhu Vs. Sayed Babalal H reported in 2010 5 SCC 663. However, the petitioner has not complied with the said order within the stipulated time and now, he filed the present miscellaneous petition to extend the time to deposit the said amount.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the dispute between the parties has been amicaly settled and the petitioner is also ready to deposit 15% of the cheque amount to compound the offence.

3.In the light of the above facts, time is extended to comply with the order of this Court dated 09.02.2021, till tomorrow. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
