2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the respondents to consider her representation dated 05.02.2015 and to release Rs.3,00,000/- withheld from her death cum retirement gratuity fund.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner joined the Government service as a Typist on 03.02.1982 and was promoted as Assistant during 1994 and was further promoted as Deputy Tahsildar during 2005 and was further promoted as Tahsildar during 2010 and retired as Special Tahsildar (Social Security Scheme) on 31.03.2013. The grievance of the petitioner is that a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- was withheld from her death cum retirement gratuity fund on the allegation of handling cheques for which she is not organised. Denying such allegation, she relied upon the report of the Forensic Department and submitted a representation dated 05.02.2015 to the respondent, but the same has not yet been considered. 4.In view of the above, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.02.2015 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after providing an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
