O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents herein for wilfully disobeying the order of

this Court passed in W.P.No.45145 of 2006 dated 27.09.2010.

2. The learned Government Advocate, placing on record the proceedings of the District Elementary Educational Officer, Coimbatore, passed in Na.Ka.No.5531/A3/2010 dated 05.04.2016, submitted that the order of this Court dated 27.09.2010 has been complied with.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the third respondent has to send a proposal to the Treasury Officer for payment of arrears, who is not a party in this petition and the Treasury Officer will disburse the amount only after receipt of the proposal. Submitting as above, the learned counsel for the petitioner requests this Court to keep the contempt petition pending till the disbursement of amount to the petitioner since already the petitioner has filed three contempt petitions for the same relief.

4. The learned Government Advocate sought for a direction to the third respondent to send a proposal to the Treasury Officer, Coimbatore.

5. Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the third respondent to send a proposal

to the District Treasury Officer, Coimbatore for payment of arrears from 01.04.1974 to 31.08.1990 within one week from today and on receipt of the same, the District Treasury Officer, Coimbatore, is directed to disburse the amount within two weeks.

This Contempt Petition is closed with the above direction.
