ORDER

(The Order of the Court was made by S.Vaidyanathan,J) This Contempt Petition has been filed alleging willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court on 01.11.2021 in W.P.No.23478 of 2021.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel on either side submitted that the subject matter of challenge in these contempt proceedings, had been considered by the Apex Court in Civil Appeal Nos.8921 and 8922 of 2022 (S.L.P.(Civil) Nos.14583 and 14584 of 2022) and by order dated 24.11.2022, the Supreme Court had set aside the 2 / 4

order passed on 01.11.2021 in W.P.No.23478 of 2021, as well as the order passed in this Contempt Petition on 25.07.2022 and remitted the matter back to this Court to hear and decide the Writ Petition itself on merits, after notice or opportunity to all parties in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.

3. In view of the above order passed by the Apex Court, nothing survives for consideration in this Contempt Petition, which is accordingly closed.
