The petitioner is a Village Assistant. Initially, he was working in Erode District. Thereafter, he was transferred to Dharmapuri District. According to the petitioner, he is put to great misery and hardship, as he is away from his family for over 15 years. He is aged 56 years and going to retire shortly. Hence, he made a representation dated 18.02.2015 to the respondent to transfer him in any one of the place at Gobichettipalayam Taluk, Erode District. Since no order is passed, the petitioner has come up with this writ petition.

2. In view of the limited prayer made, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.02.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
