ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent/Tahsildar to consider the petitioner's representation to issue patta in respect of land in S.No.70/4 measuring to an extent of 1.75 acres in Kondappa Naickenpatti Village, Salem Taluk and District.

2. According to the petitioner, the petitioner has purchased the property in S.No.70/4 to an extent of 1.75 acres in Kondappa Naickenpatti Village, Salem Taluk and District, in the year 1991 and he is in possession and enjoyment of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

property. On 08.02.2021, the petitioner has made an application before the third respondent for issuance of patta. But, the same has not been considered till date. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, and the petitioner's representation dated 08.02.2021 is pending with the third respondent/Tahsildar, without going into the merits of the case, the third respondent is directed to complete the enquiry and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law after giving opportunity to the petitioner as well as other affected parties, if any, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
