ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner/third plaintiff.

2. The Civil Revision Petition is filed for a direction to the learned Subordinate Judge, Chidambaram, to expedite the disposal of O.S.No.80 of 2016.

3. O.S.No.80 of 2016 is filed seeking for declaration of title and for consequential injunction. After completion of the proceedings, the second defendant is stated to have passed away and thereby, the legal representatives are brought on record and the matter is posted for filing additional written statement.

4. The suit is filed about seven years ago and even according to the petitioner, the trial could not proceed further on account of fact that the second defendant died and his legal representatives are brought on record. 2/4

5. Considering the said circumstances, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the learned Subordinate Judge, Chidambaram, to expedite the trial in O.S.No.80 of 2016 and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible, but not later than eight months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. 24.04.2023 ssi Index: Yes/No Speaking Order: Yes/No To
