Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorari calling for the records from the 1st respondent relating to the decision of the 1st Respondent University as communicated by them vide letter dt.24.11.2014 bearing reference No.10812/A2/2014 and quash the same as arbitrary, malafide, vindictive. O R D E R
This writ petition is filed challenging the order of the first respondent dated 24.11.2014 by which the guideship given to the petitioner, who is an Assistant Professor in Biochemistry to guide M.Phil scholars in the Chemistry was withdrawn.
2. It is fairly submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that as on today, the petitioner had already superannuated from service in 2018 and therefore, the relief sought for in the writ petition challenging 2/6
the withdrawal of guideship has become infructuous. However, since the counsel for petitioner in the earlier hearing submitted that some of the pensionary benefits were not granted due to the inaction on the part of the fourth respondent in not forwarding necessary particulars, the petitioner is not able to get the benefits, the learned Government Advocate was directed to obtain necessary instructions in this regard.
3. Today, the learned Government Advocate produced a written communication of the fourth respondent dated 22.10.2024 and submitted that already the fourth respondent by proceedings dated 27.09.2024 had sent all the query raised by the Directorate of Collegiate Education and only insofar as the fifth query regarding the possession certificate of a property was not available and now the same was also received from the Joint Director, Directorate of Collegiate Education on 22.10.2024 and therefore, all the pending particulars in respect of the queries raised will be forwarded to the Authorities concerned as expeditiously as possible within a period of three weeks.

Since the issue sought for in the writ petition has become infructous and also apprehensions raised by the petitioner has been addressed, no further orders are required in this writ petition, this writ petition stands dismissed as infructous. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 23.10.2024 Index:Yes Non-speaking order gpa 4/6
