Ms.P.T.Ramadevi, learned Standing Counsel and Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, both accepts notice for R1 & R2 and R3 respectively, and is armed with instructions to enable disposal of this matter at this stage. Thus, by consent expressed by all learned counsels, this writ petition is disposed finally.

2.The petitioner is a resident of Srinivasa Nagar. The https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

grievance concerns an 8 feet road that connects Srinivasa Nagar and Krishna Nagar, which, according to her, is very narrow and must be permitted to be accessed only by the pedestrian and two wheelers.

3.The petitioner as well as other residents of the area have made a representation dated 01.07.2009 and periodically thereafter, suggesting that the area be cordoned off, and heavy vehicles/large vehicles/four wheel vehicles be prevented from accessing the same, but there is no action taken by the respondents and hence, this writ petition.In fact, the petitioner has offered to even bear the expenditure for the above exercise and thus points out that paucity of funds cannot be cited as a reason for inaction of the respondents.

4. Both learned counsel for the respondents assure the Court that the representations as aforesaid, shall be attended to, the petitioner as well as other stakeholders, including the residents of the area in question be heard and necessary orders passed within a period of twelve (12) weeks from today. 5.This Writ Petition is disposed as above.
