O R D E R

The petition seeks for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.03.2023, to remove his name from the history sheet bearing No.2/56/2002 of Vyasarpadi Police Station.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the cases said to have been registered against the petitioner are registered between the years 2004 and 2007; that thereafter no cases have been registered against the petitioner and; that the petitioner cannot be still considered as a history sheeter. 2/5

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the respondents would consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.03.2023 and would pass appropriate orders, within a period of 3 weeks.

4. In view of the representation, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.03.2023 and pass orders in accordance with law, taking into consideration the fact that there are no cases pending pending against the petitioner from the year 2007 onwards, within 3 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. with the above observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
