ORDER
This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 1176 days in filing the above criminal appeal against the order dated 25.10.2021 passed in C.C.No.3782 of 2015 on the file of the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, FTC-I, Egmore, Allikulam, Chennai, thereby acquitted the respondent for the offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. 2.
On perusal of the affidavit filed in support of the condone delay petition, the petitioner failed to state any valid reason for the huge delay of 1176 days in filing the appeal. The reasons stated in the affidavit are not satisfactory and as such the condone delay petition is liable to be dismissed 3.
Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition stands dismissed and the Criminal Appeal stands rejected in the SR stage itself. 10.07.2025 Index : Yes/No : Yes/No Speaking/non-speaking order rts
