Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the entire records leading to the detention of the petitioner's son, detenu Raja, aged 26, son of Madheswaran, presently detained in the Central Prison, Salem, under Act 14/1982, as Goonda vide the detention order dated 13.03.2021 in C.M.P.No.11/Goonda/Salem City/2021, on the file of the 2nd respondent herein, directing to produce the person or body of the detenu Raja, aged 26, son of Madheswaran, before this Court and thereafter set him at liberty from the Central Prison, Salem, by setting aside the above order. ORDER

[Made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in C.M.P.No.11/Goonda/Salem City/2021 dated 13.03.2021 detaining her son as "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.1931, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 27.04.2021 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
