ORDER

The Contempt petition has been filed on the ground, that the respondent Police during the course of enquiry has harassed the petitioner, inspite of the earlier orders of this Court to refrain from harassing.

2. Heard Mr.R.Jayaprakash, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.B.Arulmozhimaran, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) has filed an affidavit of the respondent dated 11.08.2018, wherein he has categorically stated that, he has not harassed the petitioner during the course of enquiry and he has no intention to harass the petitioner.

4. Recording the submission made by the respondent in his affidavit dated 11.08.2018, the Contempt petition stands closed.
