ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the application of the petitioner bearing No.200095780125148 dated 24.01.2025 for grant of a new electricity connection for the property situated at Door.No.8/3W, Naveen Nagar, PhaseII, Venkada Mangalam Village, Sholinganallur, Chennai, in bearing Survey No.52/2B1, New Survey No.52/67.

2. When the matter came up for admission, Mr.J.Jai Venkatesh, the learned counsel taking notice on behalf of the respondents would contend that even as per the petitioner is only the co-owner of the property in which case, the petitioner has to submit the no objection from the other co-owners.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner in reply would submit that since the other co-owners are not cooperating, the petitioner has already submitted the indemnity bond. Therefore, the third respondent shall consider the same and process the application of the petitioner and pass final orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the web copy of the order, without waiting for the certified copy of the order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
