ORDER

Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 and 3 to consider his representations dated 19.10.2015, 23.06.2016 and 19.06.2017 and change the patta in respect of Survey No.249/2C situated at Plot Nos.88 and 89, Venkatachalam Nagar Extension Part-I, Nemili Village, Karanthangal Hamlet, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the petitioner's repeated representations, the 2nd respondent has not changed the name in the patta so far.

4. Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representations and pass orders, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks.

5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 19.10.2015, 23.06.2016 and 19.06.2017 and pass orders, accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
