Defendants/Respondents Application praying that this Hon'ble Court be pleased to appoint an officer of court as observer to the election of office bearers of the management committee of the Indian Red Cross Society, Tamil Nadu Branch for the period 2017 to 2020 to be elected by the existing management committee members in the election scheduled to be held on 15.07.2017 at the premises of Indian Red Cross Society, Tamil Nadu branch and permitting him to take police aid if necessary. This application coming on this day before this court for hearing the Court made the following order:- Memo has been filed by the Indian Red Cross Society, National Head Quarters enclosing a letter dated 12.01.2018 stating that the Election Officer Mr.S.Balasubramaniam had conducted elections for the post of Chairman, Vice Chairman and Treasurer for the Tamil Nadu Branch of the Indian Red Cross Society for the period 2018 to 2021 and the results have also been declared on 06.01.2018. The said memo is taken on record.

2. There is also a report filed by the Interim Administrator, Hon'ble Mr.Justice A.Kulasekaran, former dated 08.01.2018 wherein the Interim Administrator had stated that he had handed over charge that he request permission to handover charge to the newly elected office bearers and to get relieved.

3. Since the Administrator had discharged his duties to the satisfaction of both the Red Cross Society and to the Court, the Administrator is relieved and this Court places

its deep appreciation for the Administrator for having readily come to the assistance of the Court for settling the issues among the parties.

4. The Administrator is requested to hand over the charge to the newly elected office bearers and he has also relieved from the post.

5. It is seen from the interim report that the remuneration has also been paid to the interim Administrator. Hence, this application is closed.
