..Petitioner(s) Vs The State represented by:

The Inspector of Police, Valampalayam Police Station, Tiruppur City.

(Crime No.67 of 2026) ..Respondent(s) PRAYER: The Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 483 of B.N.S.S. praying to enlarge the petitioner on bail in Crime No.67 of 2026 pending investigation on the file of the respondent/complainant. For Petitioner(s):

M/s.K.Karthikeyan For Respondent(s):

Mr. S. Vinoth Kumar, Government Advocate (Criminal side)

ORDER

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 21.02.2026 for the alleged offences under Section 75 of B.N.S. in Cr. No.67 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner misbehaved with the victim girl. Hence the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent, he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner is under incarceration since 21.02.2026 and the petitioner is ready and willing to abide by any condition that may be imposed by this Court and hence prayed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondent police opposed to enlarge the petitioner on bail by stating that the petitioner, being a married man having two children, misbehaved with the victim girl, who is unmarried. He would further submit that investigation is still pending.

5. I have given anxious consideration to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side.

6. Taking into consideration the serious allegations against the petitioner, considering the totality of circumstances and stage of investigation, this Court is of the view that it is not an appropriate time to consider the bail application.

7. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 13-03-2026 MJS Note:
